HISTORIA DEL TRAJE DE BAÑO

Desde la antigüedad el hombre asociaba la limpieza y la higiene con actos religiosos y purificadores, el agua era fuente de belleza y relajación.

El primer traje de baño se ha encontrado en una antigua villa siciliana donde se han encontrado mosaicos que datan de 1.600 a.C. en la que la mujer viste un traje de baño de dos piezas.



Since antiquity men associated the cleaning and hygiene with religious acts and purifiers, water was a source of beauty an relaxition.

The first swinmsuit was found in an old Sicilian village where mosaics have been found dating back to 1.600 b.C in which woman wear a swinmsuit in two pieces.

En el siglo XVIII había nacido la costumbre de bañarse, pero la mujer no se bañó hasta 1.822. La Duquesa de Berry nuera de Carlos X, se sumergió en el agua totalmente vestida en una playa de Francia.

Esta prenda ha ido evolucionando a través del tiempo.



In the eighteen century was born habit of bathing, but the women did not bathe until 1.822. The Duchess of Berry, daugther in law of Charles X was submerged in the water with her dress in a beach in France.

En el siglo XIX los médicos recomendaban a sus pacientes los baños de mar y sol como remedio a ciertas enfermedades.
Al principio se bañaban vestidos, pero poco a poco surgió la necesidad de crear un traje de baño que fuese más cómodo.

Los primeros trajes de baño de las señoras se confeccionaban con los mismos tejidos que los vestidos como franelas, alpaca, sarga...consistía en una parte de arriba ceñida como un corpíño con cuello alto y mangas hasta los codos., con falda hasta las rodillas y debajo unos pantalones tipo bombacho con medias negras y zapatillas de lona de tacón bajo. Cuando estos bañadores se mojaban pesaban más de tres kilos.

The swimsuite has been evolutioned over the time. In the nineteenth doctors recomend to their pacients to have a bath in the beach and sun baths as remedy for certain illness.

At first everybody bathed dressed, but gradually it became to create a swimsuit that was more confortable.

The first swimsuite of the ladies had been made with the same fabrics as their dresses like fannel, alpaca, twill...It had two parts one a top like a bra with high neck and sleeves to the elbows, a skirt to the kness and under a buggy trousers with black socks an sneakers with low-heel. When the swimsuits were wet weighed more than three kilos.

No solo eran incómodos sino que eran peligrosos por su peso, incluso ocurrió alguna desgracia con algunos bañistas que terminaron en el fondo de las aguas.

En 1.880 se creó una máquina llamada "máquina de baño" que la utilizaban las señoras para evitar las miradas masculinas. Las bañistas podían cambiarse dentro de ella y se ponían su traje de baño que era una bata de franela hasta los pies y sujeta al cuello. Luego se sumergían en el agua dentro de dicha máquina mediante ruedas que se deslizaba por una rampa.

These swimsuits were unconfortable and dangerous because their weight when they were wet produced a misfortune with some swimmers who plunged into the depth of the water.

In 1.880 has created a machin called "a bathing machine" the ladies used it to evit the male eyes. The ladies could change into the machine they put their swimsuit that consisted in a flannel gown subject to the neck. Then they sumerged in the water into the machine using wheels that was sliding down a ramp.

Ya en 1.920 el traje de baño consistía en una prenda muy ceñida con mangas y falda que llegaba hasta las rodillas.

Más tarde apareció el traje de baño de 2 piezas. El bañador con espalda y tirantes finos. Las dos piezas consistía en una parte de arriba con cuello alto y pantalón corto.

In 1.920 the swimsuit consisted in a very tight top with slevees and a skirt until the knees.

Later the swimsuit appeared in two parts a top with high neck and a short troursers.

Después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial en 1.946 el francés Rénard creó el llamado bikini.

Una balilarina del casino de París fue la que inmediantemente quiso lucir dicha prenda y el nombre surge por la bomba que los estadounidenses lanzan en la isla de Bikini en el Pacífico y al final se presentó dicha prenda con el nombre de "Bikini".

After the Second War Wolrd in 1946 a french called Rénard designed and created the bikini.

A dancer of the Casino in Paris wanted to be the fist who used the bikini. The americans through a bomb in the bikini Isalad in the Pacific. Then he thought that this swimsuit could call

"Bikini".

En 1.951 se prohibió dicha prenda ya que se consideraba de mal gusto, pero al elegirlo Brigitte Bardot para sus baños en Saint Tropez y Cannes las mujeres cambiaron de opinión y se empezó a utilizar.

En 1.960 se inventa la lycra por unas pruebas que se hacen para hacer punto para jerseys y terminó con este formidable tejido el cual produce una revolución textil ya que este tejido puede estirarse hasta 6 veces su longttud natural y puede adaptardese al cuerpo perfectamente facilitando la movilidad y reduciento el peso al mojarse de forma considerable. Fue una revolución en la creación de los distintos trajes de baño.

In 1.951, this garmet was prohibited, everybody considered as a something ugly, but Brigitte Bardot chose it to her baths in Saint Tropez and Cannes then the women changed their opinions and started to used it.

In 1.960 had been invented the lycre. In a fabric were working to make sweaters and made some test for knitting and ended with this remarkable tissue which produced a textil revolution, because this fabric can stretch up to six times its natural length and can be adapted perfectly to the body by facilitating the mobility an reducing the weight considerably when it wet. It was a revolution in the creation of different swimsuit.

En los años 6o Ursula Andress sacó un magnífico bikini en una de las películas de James Bond, la cual hizo historia, tanto como modelo, como por su fantástico cuerpo y su eleganciaa al lucirlo.

In 1.960 Ursula Andress used a fantastic bikini in a James Bond film Who made history, both as a model as her fantastic body and elegance to wear this swimsuit.

En 1.964 en California se inventa el momobikini en 1.974 se inventa en Brasil el tanga, inventado por un genovés.

In 1.964 in California was invented the monobikini. In 1.974 in Brazil was invented the tanga by a genoese.

Hoy en día el traje de baño ha tenido tal evolución que pasa por distintos modelos y tamaños y es sinónimo de descanso y relax en la playa, conocido en todas partes del mundo.

Today the swimsuit has had an evolution that goes through different models and sizes an it synonymous of relax and rest on the beach and it know throughout the world.

Todas las mujeres en su armario tiene al menos un bañador.

Cada año los diseñadores nos sorprenden con nuevas creaciones con las que la mujer se siente favorecida cómoda y sobre todo atractiva.

All the women has in their wardorover at least on swimsuit.

Every year fashion designers suprise us with new creations, the women feel favoured, confortable and expecially atractive.

HISTORIA DEL TRAJE DE GITANA

Estos trajes eran la indumentaria de la mujer andaluza de clase baja como campesinas y gitanas. De ahí su propio nombre "traje de gitana".

These dresses were the dresses of andalusia lower-class women as peasants and gypsies, so this is its name "gypsy dress".

Eran simples batas con varios volantes acompañados de un delantal que utilizaban para trajinar o faenar.



There were simple dress with ruffles with an apron, which they used to work.

Acompañaban a sus maridos a las ferias de ganado y trasladaban sus casas de forma provisional en casetas de lona, de ahí "las casetas de feria".

Esta indumentaria realza mucho la figura femenina y poco a poco se fueron poniendo de moda en las clases más altas y empezaron a acudir a las ferias de ganado adornadas con las vestimentas de las más humildes.

They went with their husbands to the cattle market fair they move their houses and they lives temporaly in tents, so this is its name "fair tends".

These dresses enhaced the famale figure, gradually the highest class began to wear it and they went to the cattle fair adorned with these dresses of the most humble.

Las ferias se profesionalizaron, el flamenco formó parte de este evento y dejó de existir la diferencia entre clases sociales ya que cualquier mujer vestía este fantástico atuendo.



Fairs turned in a professional way and flamenco integrated in these events and ceased to exist the diffrerence between social classes and every women wearing this fantastic dress.

Su historia va mezclada y fundida con otras lejanas civilizaciones llegadas a nuestra cultura que dan muestra perfecta en los volantes y las telas. La mujer de alta cuna empezó a copiar la indumentaria. A partir de la Exposición Iberoamericana de Sevilla de 1.929 el traje de flamenca o gitana (como bien lo llamamos) había dado un salto vertijinoso a la moda. Lo que había sido vestimenta local pasó a lo que es actualmente traje de Andalucía, identificándose por todo el mundo como "traje español".

It i s the only custume that varies and can be renewed and reinvents itself adding new accessories and differents materials according the fashion so we can say "it is a living dress".

El traje de gitana se conoce como "cuerpo de gitarra" ya que realza la belleza femenina, así se fue transformando poco a poco marcando el escote en pico, redondo o cuadrado según la moda, para realzar el pecho femenino y ciñiéndose en el talle para luego abrirse en la cadera con los volantes como si fuera un clavel que hace que la mujer al andar se contonee de forma seductora luciendo lo mejor de sus formas femeninas.

Distintos tipos de pendientes y adornos incluso llevar o no mantoncillo.
